Joel Buckler has practiced physiotherapy for over 20 years. As director of University Physiotherapy Inc. he oversees the day-to-day operation of the clinic. A former staff member of at Capital Health he worked closely with the orthopaedic surgery service. He is a graduate of the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy and has completed an Advanced Diploma in Manual Therapy and a Certification in Sports physiotherapy. He has taught postgraduate manual therapy and shoulder courses through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Joel has lectured at and been a clinical instructor with Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. He has been the principle investigator in research related to shoulder instability, a joint project with Capital Health, Dalhousie and the Sports Medicine Clinic of Nova Scotia. His primary area of interest is shoulder injury and rehabilitation.
